Columbus, Ind., — The Columbus North varsity boys basketball team has a conference home game Friday, Feb. 9 against the Panthers of Bloomington South.
Tip-off is at 7:30 PM EST, with Kurt Sundling, Royce King, and Seth Lee as your crew of officials.

Bloomington High School South (19-2, 5-0) is currently sitting at the top of Conference Indiana leading with a perfect 5-0 record in league play. Head Coach J.R. Holmes and the Panthers will face Columbus North in a road test, as they look to get their tenth straight win. The Panthers defeated North Posey, 79-46 on Feb. 3.
The Columbus North Bulldogs came up short on Tuesday, against Franklin Community falling 55-51. With the loss the Bulldogs move to 11-8 overall and 3-2 in conference play. Columbus North will battle Bloomington South Friday night as things heat up before the postseason. The Bulldogs are coached by Paul Ferguson.

Indianapolis, Ind., — The North Central Panthers have a home conference game against the Lawrence Central Bears on Thursday, Feb. 1. The two Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference (MIC) teams will face-off in boys varsity basketball action as teams prepare for the quickly approaching sectionals.
Game-time is at 7:30 PM EST, with Laurell Brown, Adam Abubakr, and Royce King as your crew of officials.

Led by Head Coach Al Gooden, the visiting Bears (9-5, 2-3 MIC) are coming off a win over non-conference opponent Anderson. LC defeated the Indians, 60-45 on Saturday, where sophomores Dre Davis and Nijel Pack scored 15, and 11 points respectively. Senior Donyell Meredith finished with 14 points, seven rebounds, and six assist in the win.
The North Central Panthers (5-9, 1-4 MIC) are also coming off a victory, defeating Park Tudor, 66-50 in Saturday’s home game. Seniors Donald Lee and Caleb Pack led the scoring effort for NC with 23 and 14 points, respectively. The Panthers are coached by Doug Mitchell.

Hanover, Ind., — The Rose-Hulman Fightin’ Engineers women’s basketball team has a road test Wednesday, Jan. 31, against Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) opponent Hanover College.
The two NCAA Division III squads tip-off at 7:00 PM EST, with Adam Rider, Chris Vanhoose, and Royce King as your crew of officials.

The visiting Fightin’ Engineers (16-3, 12-0 HCAC) remain undefeated in conference play after knocking off the Transylvannia University Pioneers by a score of 68-56 on Saturday. The big HCAC win gave Rose its 34th straight victory on their home floor (Hulbert Arena) – the nation’s longest home win streak in women’s Division III hoops. Head Coach Jon Prevo and the Fightin’ Engineers look to secure their 15th straight win when they visit Hanover.
The Panthers (12-7, 8-4 HCAC) led by Head Coach John Jones, are sitting at the No. 4 slot in the HCAC standings as Hanover came up short, 64-62 against Bluffton in Saturday’s HCAC contest. After dropping two straight in league play, the Panthers look to get back on track as they host Rose-Hulman, Wednesday.
