Glynnis King is a recent graduate from Manchester University (MU) with a degree in Sport Management and Art.
King has a 12 year background in researching, writing, reporting, and editing news, features, and sports pieces; most recently for the RoyceKingSports (RKS) website. As an RKS Insider, Glynnis conducts on-site interviews with the WNBA’s Indiana Fever personnel for select home games, other sporting events across the U.S., and manages the network’s social media accounts.
As a member of the RKS team, King has interviewed with the Indiana Fever’s Marissa Coleman, Erlana Larkins and members of the Fever squad. Glynnis has also caught up with coaches in the IHSAA Boys Basketball Summer League, as well as with George Corbin, Jr. – CEO & Founder of Humble But Hungry – a 501(c)(3) non-profit in the health and wellness sector out of Delaware.
During her collegiate career, she was a member of MU’s Women’s Basketball program, gained experience working in on-court promotions with Pacers Sports & Entertainment via their NBA G-League team the Fort Wayne MadAnts, and assisted at Turnstone Center for Children & Adults with Disabilities. King has also served as Youth Services Director at the Virginia Beach Field House helping develop and implement youth sports programs.
In her spare time Glynnis enjoys volunteering in the community at local art festivals, creating her own works of art, reading, traveling, and spending time with family & friends. Glynnis currently resides in Memphis, TN.
