Selma, Ala. — Looking for your fix of college hoops to bring in the Thanksgiving season? Look no further because the LeMoyne-Owen College (LOC) women’s basketball team have got your back.
The Lady Magicians (0-3) are on the road again, as they travel to Concordia College Alabama (CCA) in Selma, Tuesday, Nov. 21, to face the Lady Hornets.
Game time is set for 5:30 PM ET.
LOC has come up short in their last two outings, suffering tough one point losses to University of Illinois Springfield (67-66), and the Choctaws of Mississippi College (80-79). Hungry for a victory, the Lady Magicians will have to dig deep for each other, and for their first road win against non-conference opponent Concordia.
The CCA Lady Hornets (4-2) are members of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and participate at the Division I level for women’s basketball. Under head coach Howard White, the Lady Hornets are reigning 2016-17 USCAA national champions. Coming off a 79-52 loss at the hands of Paul Quinn College, the Lady Hornets aim to keep their 2-0 home record unblemished against the Lady Magicians.
