Blazers vs. Pacers Preview

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The Portland Trailblazers (1-0) head to Bankers Life Fieldhouse as the Pacers (1-0) play host on Friday night.

Both the Blazers and the Pacers had successful opening nights on their home floors Wednesday, each passing the century mark against their opponents. Portland handed the Phoenix Suns their worst loss…EVER, 124-76. YIKES! The Blazers had six players in double figures, with Dame D.O.L.L.A (Damian Lillard) blazing the trail scoring 27 points. Pat Connaughton finished with 24.

In Indy, “We Grow Basketball Here.” Known for it’s love of the game and basketball icons, the Pacers did their fans justice in a 140-131 season-opening victory, over Brooklyn. In a back and forth battle, Indiana prevailed showcasing their new roster featuring eight players in double figures, three of whom finished with double-doubles (Thad Young, Myles Turner, Darren Collison). IU baller Victor Oladipo, also showed out in his Pacers debut with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals.
