Warriors vs. Pelicans Preview

NEW ORLEANS, LA — The Golden State Warriors (0-1) will visit the New Orleans Pelicans (0-1) for their season home opener inside Smoothie King Center.

The Warriors could be without reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Draymond Green, after suffering a knee strain on opening night. Andre Iguodala is expected to make his season debut after missing game one due to back pain.

The Pelicans  could be without point guard Rajon Rondo for the first 11 games to start the season. Meanwhile, Jrue Holiday will be asked to return to All-Star form. Coach Alvin Gentry is committed to playing Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins together heavy minutes.

Game on ESPN at 9:30 PM ET.
