Game 2 ‘s doubleheader in the best-of-five Semifinals of the 2017 WNBA Playoffs air tonight on ESPN 2, beginning with the Mystics & Lynx at 8 PM ET, followed by the Mercury and the Sparks at 10 PM ET. Minnesota and Los Angeles hold a 1-0 lead in their respective series.

Minnesota Lynx vs Washington Mystics (Lynx:1-0)
Game 2: After a strong showing by top ranked Minnesota, who took Game 1 over the Mystics, the Lynx are back and ready to dominate in Game 2. Seimone Augustus led all scorers with 24 points on 11 of 17 shooting in the first meeting of this series; Sylvia Fowles, this years WNBA MVP, added 18 points and 7 rebounds to the victory. With a shot to bounce back and stay alive in this series, the Mystics will need everyone to step up in Game 2. Elena Delle Donne finished with 17 points for Washington, while Krisiti Toliver who had a record setting 32 points in Round 2’s single-elimination game versus New York, was held to just 3 points, Tuesday. Los Angeles Sparks vs Phoenix Mercury (Sparks: 1-0)
Game 2: After a battle between these two physical teams, the defending champs: Los Angeles, came a way with the ‘W’ to take a 1-0 lead against the Mercury. Brittney Griner finished with 18 points after fouling out with 4:44 left in the game. Diana Taurasi was held to just 6 points on the evening after Sparks guard, and Defensive Player of the Year, Alana Beard turned up the heat, pressuring the All-time leading scorer.
