Sparks, Wings Game Preview

In their final match-up of this season series, the Los Angeles Sparks (18-6) take on the Dallas Wings (12-14) at College Park Center this afternoon.

The streaking Sparks have won four games in a row and seven of its last 10 contests. In their most recent victory over New York, the Sparks outscored the Liberty 25-11 in the third quarter. Candace Parker led the charge with 24 points and Odyssey Sims tallied 20 in the victory. Los Angeles holds a 2-1 lead over Dallas this season, including a 95-74 romping on July 30.

The Wings remain steadfast, holding on to the No. 7 spot in league standings after an impressive shooting night in their victory over Seattle. Dallas tied a WNBA record of 16 made 3-pointers in their 93-80 home win on Friday. Skylar Diggins-Smith went 5 for 7  from downtown scoring 23 points and dishing out 7 assists to lead the Wings. Dallas also out-rebounded Seattle dominating the glass 46-25. Glory Johnson tallied 11 points and grabbed a season high-tying 16 boards, while Karima Christmas-Kelly finished with 14 points.
