Mystics, Stars Game Preview

The Washington Mystics (14-9) look to stretch their three-game win streak to four when they visit the San Antonio Stars (4-21) at the AT&T Center tonight.

The Mystics recently defeated Atlanta 77-70, on Emma Meesseman’s 30 points – a career-high for the Washington forward- while adding 10 rebounds as well. Kristi Toliver added 19 in the win, and Elena Delle Donne finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Washington will face the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday, as they begin a four-game homestand.

San Antonio came away with the 93-81 victory over New York on Tuesday, after a series of losses. Kayla McBride dropped a career-high 31 points as the Stars closed on a 22-4 run to beat the Liberty. Kayla Alexander also scored a career-high 19 points in her first start of the season for San Antonio. The Stars will try to avoid a season series sweep by the Mystics, and win back-to-back games for the first time this season.

Tune in on NBATV at 8:00 p.m. ET.
