The Dallas Wings (11-13) hope to wrap up their short road trip with a win over Los Angeles (16-6) this evening at Staples Center.
The Wings fell to the Seattle Storm Friday night, after Seattle’s Jewell Loyd and Breanna Stewart combined for 47 of the teams 109 points. Dallas was led by Skylar Diggins-Smith and Glory Johnson who scored 18 and 16, respectively.
The Sparks who have won two games straight, plan to go for a third on their home floor after defeating San Antonio Friday night, 85-73. Odyssey Sims led the way with a career-high 22 points in the win, while Jantel Lavender added 18. Candace Parker also made history becoming the 6th WNBA player to put up a triple-double. Parker tallied 11 points, 17 rebounds, and 11 assists joining the elite company of players like Temeka Johnson, Sheryl Swoopes, and Lisa Leslie.
