Storm, Lynx Game Preview

The Seattle Storm (10-12) look to slow down the streaking Minnesota Lynx (18-2) as they face-off tonight in the Xcel Energy Center.

After a 109-93 home victory over Dallas, Seattle looks to bring that offensive energy again tonight over the best team in the league. Jewell Loyd led the charge with 27 points, followed by Breanna Stewart with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Crystal Langhorne and Sue Bird also added 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Minnesota who has been hot throughout the season and is currently on a five-game win streak, doesn’t have any plans of slowing down. Led by Sylvia Fowles in their most recent victory over Atlanta, the Lynx are expecting the latter portion of this season to be much more physical as teams make their push for the playoffs. Fowles led all scorers Friday night with 29 points and also grabbed 8 rebounds. Maya Moore tallied 17 on the evening, and Seimone Augustus added 14 points and 10 assists in the victory.

Be sure to catch this game on NBATV at 7:00 p.m. ET.
