Wings, Storm Game Preview

The Dallas Wings (11-12) head to KeyArena tonight to face the Seattle Storm (9-12) in their second meeting of the season.

Dallas is coming off an 84-82 win over the Indiana Fever as they look to kick off a two-game road trip with another victory tonight. In Tuesday’s win, Skylar Diggins-Smith scored 21 points and Allisha Gray added 12. Battling to stay in the hunt for the playoffs, the Wings are currently ranked seventh in the league, and need all the wins they can get to stay in the race.

Seattle is also jockeying for that eighth and final playoff spot, as they prepare for a tough five-game road trip starting Sunday, against the dominant Minnesota Lynx. After dropping two games straight, including Tuesday’s loss to the Los Angeles Sparks, the Storm’s focus for the rest of the season is closing out games strong. Breanna Stewart scored 23 points in the 68-60 loss against Los Angeles. Jewell Loyd added 13 and Crystal Langhorne put up 12, and grabbed 10 rebounds as well.

Tune in tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET, on NBATV.
