In their first battle of the season, the New York Liberty (10-10) will travel to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, to face the Indiana Fever (8-14) at 7:00 p.m. ET.
As both teams are coming off tough, close game losses, each will look to get rolling and secure their first win in the second half of the season. New York, who began a five-game road trip Tuesday, came up short against the Minnesota Lynx, falling 76-75. Tina Charles led the way with 24 points and 16 rebounds, while Epiphanny Prince added 19 in the loss.
Meanwhile, Indiana headed to Arlington, TX to face the Dallas Wings who prevailed over the Fever 84-82, despite trailing 80-76 with 2:45 left. Having loss two games back to back, the Fever hope to put an end to their losing streak and give their fans a win at home. Briann January led the way Tuesday, with 16 points, while Natalie Achonwa, Candice Dupree, and Tiffany Mitchell added 13, 12, and 10, respectively.
