Sky, Storm Game Preview

Tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN 2, the two WNBA Players of the Week will face off in their first meeting of the season as Stefanie Dolson and the Chicago Sky (6-13) battle Breanna Stewart and the Seattle Storm (9-10) in KeyArena.

The Sky are coming off a tough double-overtime loss against the Dallas Wings, who snapped Chicago’s three-game win streak Sunday with a 112-106 victory. Despite falling to the Wings, center Stefanie Dolson had a career-high 26 points and 10 rebounds on the night. Jessica Breland added a season-high 23 points, while Allie Quigley tallied 22 for Chicago.

Seattle who hopes to win their first back-to-back game since late May, will use Saturday’s victory over Atlanta, to push them over the hump in aims of reaching the .500 mark before All-Star break. In the 90-84 victory over the Dream, Breanna Stewart led the way with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Crystal Langhorne also added a season-high 20 points and grabbed 8 boards to aid in the Storm’s victory.

Tune in tonight on ESPN 2.
