Mystics, Liberty Game Preview

The Washington Mystics (11-8) will face the New York Liberty (8-9) in their second meeting of the season at Madison Square Garden at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The Mystics who are coming off a 72-58 victory over Indiana, are looking to close out their five game road trip with a win over the Liberty. In Friday’s victory, Emma Meesseman scored 15 points for Washington after Elena Delle Donne left the game early with a sprained right ankle. Tierra Ruffin-Pratt added 6 points and 11 rebounds, while Krystal Thomas tallied 14 points in the win.

New York who has dropped two games back-to-back, aim to turn things around at home with a chance to secure two home wins before the All-Star break. Despite the teams loss Friday night against Chicago, Tina Charles had another strong performance scoring 21 points and grabbing 19 rebounds. Passing Tari Phillips (1,077) Charles became New York’s career leading rebounder with 1,089.
