Dream, Storm Game Preview

As both teams set their sights on clinching a playoff spot, the Atlanta Dream (8-9) will face the Seattle Storm (8-10) at KeyArena tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Currently holding the No. 6 spot, the Dream are coming off a close loss to the Phoenix Mercury where Layshia Clarendon scored 21 points for Atlanta. Rookie guard Brittney Sykes also added 16 points while Elizabeth Williams tallied 8 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the 89-84 loss to the Mercury. Clarendon is currently tied with veteran Sue Bird as the leagues leader in assists with 6.8 apg.

The Storm just decimals behind Dallas who holds the 8th and final playoff spot, are nearing the end of a five game homestead just before the All-Star break. Led by forward Breanna Stewart, Seattle hopes to finish strong with a pair of wins over the Dream tonight and the Chicago Sky on Tuesday.
