Sun, Sparks Game Preview

Tonight on WNBA League Pass, the Connecticut Sun will take on the Los Angeles Sparks in Staples Center.

The Sparks (12-5) who are 7-0 at home, look to continue their success and remain unbeaten at home this season. After dropping two games on the road, the Sparks are eager to get back in to the groove and pull out a win. In Saturday’s loss to Seattle, the Sparks were led by Nneka Ogwumike with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Candace Parker, Jantel Lavender, and Riquna Williams each finished the night with 10 points.

Hoping to take the lead in this season series, the Connecticut Sun (11-7) have been unstoppable. After making one of the greatest come backs in team history, down 22-points the Sun defeated the Washington Mystics 96-92 before going on to beat the Seattle Storm. Now, the Sun aim to keep their five-game win streak alive behind the scoring prowess of Jonquel Jones who averages 15.8 ppg and 11.8 rpg.
