Sparks, Storm Game Preview

The defending champion Los Angeles Sparks had their eight game win streak snapped Thursday night, by the Minnesota Lynx in what’s becoming a thrilling rivalry. However, the Sparks would have to get over their loss quick, as they face the Seattle Storm in KeyArena tonight at 9 p.m ET, on WNBA League Pass.

Los Angeles who is now 12-4 overall, and 5-4 on the road, aims to recover from their loss with a win over the Storm. The Sparks were led by Nneka Ogwumike in the loss to the Lynx, with 27 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. Guard Chelsea Gray who has been playing well for Los Angeles, also tallied 16 points.

The Seattle Storm who are 7-9 overall, have won just three of their last eleven games and are searching for a win. In a close 79-70 loss to the New York Liberty on Thursday, the Storm were led by Breanna Stewart with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Tonight, marks the second meeting in the season series between the Sparks and the Storm.
