Liberty, Storm Game Preview

The Seattle Storm who are 7-8 overall, begin a five game homestead this evening as they look to secure a win over the New York Liberty at KeyArena.

The Storm are coming off a 89-69 road win over the Dallas Wings, where forward Breanna Stewart dropped a season-high 30 points while also grabbing 10 boards. Veteran guard Sue Bird also dished out her 2,500th assist in Saturday’s road win, finishing with 12 points and 8 assists.

The Liberty who are 7-7 overall, are looking to put an end to their three game losing streak and pull out a victory on the road. New York has had a tough time on the road as they boast just a 2-4 record away from Madison Square Garden. Led by center Tina Charles, the Liberty look to get out of their funk and secure the season series between the Storm with a victory.
